Would you pay $14,000 for tickets to the Miami Grand Prix? Micah Adams •

It’s officially race week in Miami.

Max Verstappen has picked off right where he left off in 2023, starting from the pole in all five races and winning four of them to build a commanding early lead atop the F1 standings. Carlos Sainz, who won the Australian GP, is the only other driver to win a race so far this season.

While it would take a Herculean effort to knock Verstappen off at any track given his form, that’s particularly true at Miami where he won in both 2022 and 2023. He finished five seconds ahead of second-place Sergio Perez last year in Miami despite starting ninth. Back in the inaugural Miami race in 2022, the Dutch champion led 48 of 57 laps to finish ahead of both Ferrari cars, Charles Leclerc and Sainz.

American fans hoping to see Logan Sargeant claim points in his homecoming — the U.S. driver grew up just minutes down the road in Ft. Lauderdale — should temper expectations. The Williams driver has yet to finish higher than 14th in four races so far in 2024.

Hoping to catch the dominant Verstappen in the Miami Grand Prix? Here’s everything to know about the best seats, best views and best tickets for the race.
