NASCAR’s Cup Series is prepared to continue in Kansas with the AdventHealth 400, but rain may delay the race.

The AdventHealth 400, which is the first Cup Series race in May, was scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET. That said, the weather forecast is expecting light-to-moderate rain from 2-4 p.m., which could delay the start of the event.

An overcast sky hung over the track for most of the day and a light rain began to fall at around 2 p.m. ET
