Latest updates, news on OG Anunoby's injury

Luck isn’t on the Knicks’ side during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Pacers.

First, Jalen Brunson exited the game in the first quarter due to a right foot injury, though he returned in the second half. Then OG Anunoby was sidelined with an injury he suffered in the third quarter.

New York is already without Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson for the remainder of the postseason.

Anunoby was having arguably his best game in a Knicks uniform, scoring 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting in 28 minutes. The 26-year-old forward sustained the injury late in the third quarter on a fast-break layup.

The Knicks led the Pacers, 99-91, at the end of the third quarter. Here’s the latest on Anunoby’s injury.

Anunoby is dealing with a sore left hamstring and has been ruled out for the remainder of Game 2, per TNT’s Chris Haynes.

The Knicks forward fell after a fast-break layup in the third quarter and struggled to get up. Anunoby eventually hobbled off the court on his own, but he exited the game and did not return.

This is a new injury for Anunoby. He had previously missed time with the Knicks earlier this season due to an elbow injury. New York finished the regular season 20-3 with Anunoby in the lineup.

Anunoby has been ruled out of Game 2 against the Pacers. The team has not given a timetable for his return.
