William Byron took the gold during Sunday’s race, outpacing Joe Gibbs Racing stars Christopher Bell and Ty Gibbs to notch his second Cup Series win of the year.
Byron was dominant over the short- and long-runs, leading 43 of 68 laps on Sunday afternoon. It represented his second career road course victory; Byron throttled his competition en route to a win at Watkins Glen last August.
The 25-year old is among the finest drivers in all of NASCAR, having his first career Championship 4 appearance last year. He certainly looked the part on Sunday, brining Hendrick Motorsports into victory lane in style.
