LIVE SCORE: Crystal Palace vs. Man City Brad Cox •

0

Manchester City head to Crystal Palace on Saturday in the latest step on the twisting and turning road towards the Premier League title.

The champions thrashed Aston Villa 4-1 in their last game, Phil Foden scoring a brilliant hat-trick to ensure Pep Guardiola’s team kept pace with title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal.

City can move top of the table on Saturday if they beat Palace, with Arsenal not in action until later against Brighton & Hove Albion, and Liverpool facing Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday. However they will need to win by four goals to edge ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s side on goal difference.

Erling Haaland’s penalty last season is the only goal across the past two editions of this fixture at Selhurst Park, which tend to be low-scoring affairs.

The Eagles will be hoping for a positive result themselves, having gone four league games without a win. They were boosted this week by the news that star winger Michael Olise should be ready to feature in the matchday squad.

The Sporting News is following Crystal Palace vs. Manchester City live and providing score updates below.
