The Bucks are dealing with an injury to another one of their stars.

In addition to Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is sidelined with a left calf strain, Khris Middleton’s status is up in the air for Game 3 due to an ankle sprain.

Middleton was limited to 55 games during the regular season. He’s Milwaukee’s second-leading scorer through two games of its first-round series with Indiana, averaging 19.0 points on 53.6% shooting from the field.

Here’s everything you need to know about Middleton’s injury.

Middleton sprained his ankle in the first quarter of Game 2. He left the game to get his ankle checked out but returned to play 36 minutes in the 125-108 loss. He finished with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds on 6-for-14 shooting.

The first-round series between the Bucks and Pacers is tied at 1-1. Milwaukee blew Indiana out in Game 1, only for the Pacers to get revenge with a 17-point victory in Game 2.

Ahead of Game 3, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers told reporters that Middleton did not practice.

“Yeah, there’s a little,” Rivers responded when asked if there was concern about the three-time All-Star being able to play in Game 3, per The Athletic’s Eric Nehm.

The series shifts to Indiana for Game 3, which will tip off at 5:30 p.m. ET Friday, April 26.
