At the top of the Championship, it’s a three-way battle for automatic promotion that still hasn’t been confirmed. One more win for Leicester City and they’re in, while just one point separates Leeds and Ipswich Town. However, Ipswich Town has a game-in-hand on Leeds, making every win even more valuable for each side.
QPR has had a tough season but sits four points above the drop zone, all but assuring the club’s survival for another season in the Championship. And with two wins and a draw in their last five matches, it’s been a better run of form to end the season.

Leeds United’s American ownership expects to be playing in the Premier League year-in and year-out. As such, Leeds needs to win this match a lot more than QPR does, leading to a likely Leeds win on the road.
Leeds has won two of the last three meetings between these two sides and with 80 goals scored this season, we should be able to expect coach Daniel Farke’s side to add a few more to their season tally.
Based on standings alone, it’s easy to see that Leeds are the better team in comparison to QPR. Despite playing on the road, this is a match that Leeds, who are fighting for automatic promotion, will be desperate to win.
However, the Leeds defense has been leaky of late. Even in breaking their three-game winless run this week, Leeds gave up three goals to Middlesbrough, and Daniel Farke’s side has allowed seven goals in their last five matches. It’s certainly conceivable to see them giving up a goal at QPR this week, even in a win. And at +220, there’s solid value there for a bet.
At +280, this is solid value for what can be seen as a probable result. QPR has even had two 2-0 defeats at home since March, making this an enticing possibility.
