Before the UFC celebrates its history with UFC 300, the company will present a fight night at the APEX Center on April 6. On the same day as TKO partner WWE’s WrestleMania event, UFC Vegas 90 airs on ESPN+ in the U.S.

The main event will be Brendan Allen vs. Chris Curtis in a rematch from 2021. Allen was supposed to fight Marvin Vettori, but the latter pulled out at the last minute.

Allen turned pro in 2015. The former Valor Fights and LFA middleweight champion impressed with a submission win on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019. He is 12-2 in the octagon. After losing against Curtis in 2021, he has won six straight and is ranked sixth in the UFC’s middleweight rankings.

Curtis turned pro in 2009. He won a fight on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018 but retired after not being awarded a contract. It didn’t last long, as he joined the PFL the year after, going 1-3. Finally competing in the UFC in 2021, “The Action Man” is 5-2 with one no-contest with the promotion. He won his last fight in January, beating Marc-Andre Barriault via decision. Curtis is ranked 14th in the rankings.
