WrestleMania 40 is only hours away, and the excitement level of the WWE Universe has reached a fever pitch.

With rumors of possible interference from “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and John Cena and a deep two-day card featuring almost every top name WWE has to offer, the premium live event emanating from Philadelphia is shaping up to be an all-time event.

Here is the full card for WrestleMania 40, the predicted winners in every match and a focus on three of the most significant bouts of the weekend.

WrestleMania 40 Match Card and Picks

The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins

Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch: Women’s World Championship

Finn Bálor and Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Miz and R-Truth vs. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller vs. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate: Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi vs. Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane

Night 2

Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre: World Heavyweight Championship

Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes: Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

Iyo Sky vs. Bayley: WWE Women’s Championship

Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens: WWE United States Championship

Bobby Lashley, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford vs. Karrion Kross, Akam, and Rezar

The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth
Rollins

While the WWE Universe should be most excited for Cody Rhodes finally dethroning Roman Reigns and finishing his story, the biggest match on the WrestleMania 40 card is the tag team bout pitting The Rock and Reigns against Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is an afterthought.

The Final Boss has been amazing on the mic since embracing his run as a heel, and the result has been genuine excitement for the Night 1 matchup. The heels will undoubtedly win to allow “Bloodline Rules” in the Night 2 main event, but all eyes will be on The Rock.

Rollins is destined to eat several finishers and the pinfall, setting up his eventual loss on Night 2 against Drew McIntyre. Reigns’s earning the victory would give him a valid reason to demand a rematch after he loses his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Rhodes.

WWE Creative better hope wrestling fans care as much about Rhodes finishing his story as they would have last year when he should have won.

WWE Women’s Championship: Iyo Sky vs. Bayley

The highlight of the feud for the WWE Women’s Championship between Iyo Sky and Bayley was the challenger’s monumental win at the Royal Rumble, but this match is more about the moment that will be created when Bayley walks out of Philadelphia victorious.

Bayley has been a loyal soldier to WWE for years, taking every character she is handed and making it her own. While injuries have sidelined her for long stretches, the talented performer has excelled as both a face and a heel on the main roster for a long time.

It is about time Bayley gets her flowers in the form of a WrestleMania moment.

From an in-ring perspective, Sky and Bayley should have a stellar match, but it’s the ending that will live forever, as the long-timer Superstar stands atop the ropes and holds her championship high as the city of Philadelphia gives her the credit she deserves.

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi vs. Dakota
Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane

As an offshoot of the battle between Sky and Bayley, the six-person match pits the rest of Damage CTRL—Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane—against Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi.

The build hasn’t been long, but the hype for this match is real.

On one side, Kai, Asuka, and Sane are three of the most talented women on the roster, who have been embodying heel tactics and personas in recent months. However, they will meet their match when Belair, Cargill, and Naomi step into the ring.

The real highlight of this match will be the interactions between Belair and Cargill. While the faces could simply win the bout and stand tall, it would be better for the rest of 2024 if the winning trio’s celebration is cut short by Cargill attacking Belair and Naomi.
