All the ways to watch UFC 300: Pereira vs. Hill and Zhang vs. Yan

0

Two title fights headline UFC 300 on April 13. The event airs on ESPN+ PPV in the U.S. and is the ultimate celebration of a company formed in 1993.

The main event will be Alex Pereira defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Jamahal Hill. Hill is a former champion who relinquished the belt due to injury. Pereira won the UFC middleweight title in his fourth octagon fight and the light heavyweight belt in his seventh. Quickly climbing up the ladder, Pereira looks to defend the belt against another established fighter.

Zhang Weili defends the UFC strawweight title against Yan Xiaonan in the co-main event. It is a highly anticipated China vs. China showdown. Zhang is a two-time strawweight champion and on a three-fight win streak. She is dangerous, with eleven wins via knockout and eight via submission. Yan has won two straight and has eight wins via knockout.

Ranked first in the UFC strawweight rankings, Yan can strike with the best of them. “Fury” believes her power can match and even do enough to dethrone Zhang.

“I think my skill set is fast, in-and-out,” Yan said via UFC.com. “My striking will give me some advantage. Zhang Weili is a more completed fighter. She has good striking, good wrestling, good jiu-jitsu. She is more well-rounded… I’m often on the underdog side. I think everything is a challenge. I need to be ready.”

Rounding out the championship-level fights is Justin Gaethje defending his status as BMF champion against former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway.
